Impulse, an electrical transmission company specializing in emergency utility restoration services, turned to us when they wanted to rebrand as they focused on expanding their service portfolio. Through our 360 examination of Impulse, a new brand identity was created that conveys their commitment to being a reliable resource that whose integrity makes them the trusted choice for you and your community.
The Birth of a Brand, The Gauntlet of Polo
When the U.S. Polo Association sought to grow their three marque events, they asked our CMO to create a new brand to connect the events. Thus, The Gauntlet of Polo was born, allowing competitors, partners and fans which generated interest over a 3-month period instead of promoting three 1-day events. The brand was strategically focused with a new logo, messaging, event planning and even a trophy for the toughest test in polo.
Market Segmentation Drives Travel Channel Growth
Our team was critical to the emergence of Travel Channel. Our CEO led a market segmentation study identifying a key group, “Vegas Vacationers” who could differentiate the network. They loved Las Vegas programs, sports and competition shows. Our CMO’s marketing strategy led to the launch of “World Poker Tour” which became the network’s highest-rated show which was copied by virtually every cable network.

When the PGA TOUR sought to reinvigorate its brand, our CMO used comprehensive research (fan, player, staff and partner) to tackle this massive challenge. He developed strategies to define and position the new brand, competition and events around a new playoff system and a $40 million purse.
